The first giveaway is for a Zivio Boom wireless headset. Judging by my recent review of the Jawbone bluetooth headset, it sounds like there are a lot of readers who could really benefit from a wireless headset.The Zivio Boom bluetooth headset is fully customizable. I personally didn't like messing around with the 8 different ear piece options (and endless combinations), but for those of you who have a difficult time getting earphones to fit you properly and actually stay snugly in your ear, you'll like the different earpiece options and will surely be able to find a combination that fits comfortably for you.
A feature of the Zivio Boom that I really love is the fact that it comes with a charger that has 2 USB ports so you can charge both your Zivio and your phone at the same time with only one small charger. That's nice for traveling - one less thing to bring along.
The Zivio Boom has a microphone on the end of an extendable boom. You can pull it all the way out to clearly pick up your voice especially when there's a lot of background noise and you can leave it retracted when you're talking in quieter surroundings.

Could sure use an earpiece that fits... it is law in CA to be hands free and my wired headset sucks.
I need to win this, to fulfill my duty in keeping up with the latest in cool stuff that the kids are into. You see, it's called a mother's creative camouflage, a skill I learned when I got sucked into the gameboy pokemon craze. (or was it when I babysat everybody's Tamagochi when they had to go to school?) anyway, by using the things the kids use, reading what the kids read, watching (or pretending to watch) their movies and playing their games, it becomes possible to blend in enough to keep an eye on them and keep them out of trouble all the while their friends tell them how cool it is that they have a mom who does "kid stuff" too. The danger is that you can become sucked into their world so far that you find you are having fun. I realized I had been sucked into their world irrevocably when I found myself sitting with them in the waiting room of a doctor's office (with 20 patients all who had 9 am appointments and 15 patients still waiting at 1 pm), seriously playing pokemon as the hours crept by until the nurse took us to an exam room, which made us think the doctor would be seeing us soon, but I guess in Doctor time, 2 hours in the exam room before the doctor showed up was soon enough... Anyway, a few waits like that and the black cloud of total boredom and impatience looms and grows bigger, and Pokemon becomes the savior of sanity!
Just a short explanation of why I need to win that Bluetooth and keep up with the kids. After all, maybe keeping up with the kids is the secret to eternal youth!

BTW, I read another story of yours about grocery shopping (that sure was a familiar scenario! ) and it was really cool to see there is another person in this world who carried babies in slings. All mine as babies were carried either in a sling or the cradleboard, and I used to gloat a bit in stores when I saw people pushing strollers with screaming babies and toddlers in them while mine who were carried were secure and happily observing the world from their higher-up vantage point.
This may not be the right place to post this comment, since my other one was for the contest, but this is my first time on your blog after I read your grocery story and followed the link here, because your story was so such a familiiar one and I was impressed that you too are wise enough to see the humor in it all!
