And it's WIRELESS!!!

I got one of THE. MOST. AWESOME. products ever to review last week. It's an HP Photosmart C6300 All-in-One printer! This thing has so many cool features, but the best one is it's WIRELESS! That means I never have to get up off the couch! How cool is that?

Seriously, the printer I'd been using just stopped working with my laptop one day. I have no idea why and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Every time I needed something printed, I had to send it over to the desktop and wait 2 1/2 weeks for my desktop to turn on so I could print it. And then, when I clicked "print", it usually printed off a dozen strange pages before it got to my document. I tried to print a boarding pass a couple months ago and had to print 15 pages about Komodo Dragons first. I have no idea

Needless to say, I was thrilled to try this HP printer out! I have never been disappointed in an HP product and this was no exception.

Savannah pulled the printer out of the box and set it up by herself in no time. All I had to do was pop the included CD in my laptop and voila! I was good to go! And, did I mention it's WIRELESS?!

This printer holds both regular paper and photo paper AT THE SAME TIME! You don't have to change it out to go between printing photos and printing say, boarding passes, or copious amounts of information on Komodo Dragons. Not only that, but when you print a picture, it automatically prints on the photo paper which is very cool for people like me who would never remember to select "photo paper" every time she wanted to print a pic!

You don't have any pictures on your laptop because they were taking up too much space so you have them on a memory card, you say? No problem! You can insert your memory card directly into the printer and print our your pics! And these pictures look just like pictures that are printed professionally. They don't look like you printed them at home. I was amazed! And, it's WIRELESS!

Can you tell I totally love this printer yet? OK, another feature that I like is that it uses 5 individual inks. If your kids print out 50 pages of green Komodo Dragons, for example, you only have to replace an affordable green ink container, and not an entire expensive color cartridge.

And, and, and, check this out! Go to HP.COM/CREATE to find hundreds of free project templates for posters and business cards, calendars and greeting cards, stationary, scrapbooks, party decorations, and many, many more. You can print out party invitations, table decorations, banners, goody boxes, thank you notes and more in a coordinating design for easy party planning, for example.

And it's WIRELESS!

Honestly, I really, really love this printer and I have a feeling I've just begun to discover all it's capable of. You will be seriously impressed with this HP Wireless Photosmart C6380 printer!

Thanks for the opportunity...I would love this printer! I am still using the old printer that came with my computer 7 years ago. Time to upgrade for sure!

This way I could put the printer on top of the fridge, or hide it in the garage so kids will stop pulling paper out of the printer mid-print which of course jams the printer.... Grr!

Because then I wouldn't have to remember which way the photo paper gets loaded and wont have to worry about printing on the BACK of the glossy paper all the time.

OHHHH ME ME ME!!!! I would LOVE this WIRELESS printer. I have a laptop so im always all over the house with it and its just a pain to have to drag out my other printer and hook it up in order to print something. Also i had a little photo printer that i loved so but its broken now. :-( I would love to be able to print my kids pictures off again without having to go to the store! I might actually be able to get the pictures off my computer and camera and print them. I forget to pick them up if I upload them to Walgreens or something. Additionally, when my husband or I take the laptop out for work purposes, we could actually print what we are working on. Not having wires would make it so much more portable.

Ohhh....I would LOVE to win this printer. If I won, I would use it print out some of the millions of pics on my computer, that I have been wanting to print since my printer decided to stop working!!

I could REALLY use a new printer. Mine pulls out 3 pieces of paper every time you print a page, and when it does print the page it leaves off the bottom of the picture! When it runs out of paper (which I never pay attention to make sure there is enough..) it takes forever to make it work again! I have so many pictures I want to print, and it's too expensive to take them somewhere to have them printed. Thanks for the opportunity to have a nice wireless printer!!

I could so use this right now! Our printer died and I have been shopping for an all in one! I have many photos on my computer now waiting for the right printer to come along and lift it's burden!

Anonymous said...

I would love to have this printer because my printer is dying. I took it to the doctor, but it doesn't have insurance because of the economy, it hasn't been printing much and got behind on the payments. The printer tried to get welfare, but it is worth too much to qualify. Then the printer tried to beg with a sign that said, "Will print for ink" but no one stopped to help.

Please, please pick me so my sick, sad little printer can retire in a happier place, such as my next garage sale.

Why I want the HP Wireless Printer:

I want this printer because I have a special little boy that has a medical condition which requires us to be housebound for the monts of November thru April. I would love to take pictures and have a printer to print those pictures to send to all the people that care so much about him. I would love to have this printer to do just that.

I have been wanting a photo printer since my sister got one like two years ago. It’s funny that I would read this today because last night my husband and I were at Costco. We walked through the computer/printer department and just the sight of this HP wireless one caused me to salivate! It would be fabulous. I have a laptop and it’s so frustrating to have to hook it up every time I want to print something. AND, I have tons of frames in my house with pictures of random families (the ones that come in the frame) because I never get around to going to have my pictures printed. This would be priceless!

Steph said...

I absolutely love HP printers. They have amazing print quality and the ink cartridges are great. (Unless you run out of all the cartridges all at once -- but even then it's not like having to replace those nasty huge single cartridges).

We have an older HP printer already, but we have to connect it through the router so we have to have wires all over the house so that we can print off of it. I have two toddlers -- wires and toddlers don't mix. That means that everytime I want to print something up, I have to reset up the our network. And if my husband wants to print something, I get to set up that network too (seeing as how my computer geek husband is somehow network-impaired, or maybe he's just lazy and knows that if he whines enough I'll fix it for him). Either way, I get tired of setting up and then taking down the network connection 5 - 10 times a day.

Besides, getting a new printer would give me reason to start printing out pictures again. I mean, both kids have empty baby books and I do have 3 empty photo albums that should be filled at some point....

I would love to win this printer so that I could have the same printer as you, Dawn. ;-)

This printer would be used to print out the pictures from the past 3 years, that I really, really have been meaning to get to (seriously, my youngest is developing a complex due to lack of self identification abilities). When we moved to upstate NY, several boxes and a very important filling cabinet went "missing" (research thoroughly before choosing a moving co.). All photos of kids and self (including the wedding album) are gone.
My family did what they could and sent me tons and tons of photos, negatives, CDs and return emails (from when I sent out those updated newsletters). They are all still sitting in my "to do" box. We currently have a handmedown printer that only does b/w... yes, they still exist. So, not only will by youngst child have one less thing to hate me for after Psych101 in university, but the Sunday school class would also appreciate it, as well as my son's kindergarten teacher and oh yeah, that crazy wonderful husband of mine (who has to print everything at the office, shhh). So, needless to say, the printer would be put to very good use. Thanks for the opportunity. M. Jordan

Oh, Man, i would have so much fun with this...I have SOOOO many photos of my kids electronically only and need to get them printed so I can share and enjoy them all the time!

AndiWrite said...

Well, you sold me with your review, for one thing! Also, I use a printer as part of my self-employed work as a writer and proofreader/copyeditor, and I have come to loathe every printer I've ever owned. They make printer SO. MUCH. TROUBLE. I'm not making a ton of money, so I can't afford to go buy expensive equipment.

And oh yes, I might actually get some pictures of the kids & family printed once in a while! Wonder what that would be like. :)

As always, love your blog!

I would love to win the printer so I could print pictures of my new baby so I won't have to hear her whine when she is older about how there are no pictures of her but a million of her older sister.

Our printer died about 3 years ago and replacing it always gets placed on the backburner for some other expense to come first.

I would love to have this wireless printer. My all-in-one printer has been acting up lately (maybe because it's about 8-years-old) and not wanting to print. Also, the printer I have does not print photos. All of my pictures are stuck on a memory card or on my computer, but never actually get to be printed. If I won this printer, I could print my photos and my documents without hassle and without the chords (mine is not wireless). This would also make my expenses easier since I'm a single mom and replacing my printer right now is just not in the budget. My email address is jagkat105@yahoo.com. Thank you and good luck to all.

This is an incredible giveaway!!! I currently have an HP all in one. But it is about 4 years old and while it still prints out documents (like boarding passes) great, the copier and the picture printer part....not so much. I am a scrapbooker and I make cards (like the birthday invitations I am currently working on for my daughter's party), I went to print out the pictures to put in the invitation and they were horrible looking. So, I am in the market for a new one!!! Thanks!

This is so cool! Our printer stopped working when we moved so I keep e-mailing things to our neighbor or to my husband at work. I love that the HP is wireless and would be perfect for the laptop, the kids computer and husbands laptop from work.

Why I want the HP wireless printer - I have 4 kiddos. One of which is in High school and another applying to an Early College option. I myself am a full time student. Needless to say there is a lot of printing that goes on at my house. Unfortunately, the current printer is hooked up to my machine right now and Vista doesn't particularly like our current printer. This means we do a lot of file transferring to a portable hard drive, then back to my PC for it to be printed off.

Then add into the fact that since I go to school online, I have to print out documents here at home, allow the husband to take them to work to get scanned in so I can email them back.

Then we have my youngest daughter who is a budding photographer, and grandparents that live 9 hours away so there are never enough pictures coming from here. That printer would make my life a LOT easier

I would love this printer for a couple reasons. 1. I currently do not have a working one...we moved recently and somehow I lost all of the cords that hook my printer up. It's really just a matter of picking them up, but of course I haven't. 2. A wireless printer would be really nice. 3. My camera is acting really weird and will not under any circumstances transfer my pics to my computer...so a printer that could would be excellent. 4. I would no longer hear my son ask *whine* a dozen times a day if I have found my cords to hook my printer up because he wants to print his latest and greatest masterpiece or valentine, etc.

I have the most selfish reason for wanting this awesome printer. My daughter and son-in-law "kidnapped" my one and only grandchild and moved to Montana. Beautiful state, but I live in Oklahoma. It is a bit of a drive to see my grandson. My daughter has done a terrific job of putting pictures up on Shutterfly. She puts an average of 50 pictures up a week. I was ordering each print, but that has gotten a bit expensive. If you would be so kind as to gift me with this printer, even as computer challenged as I am, I will be able to print up pictures of my grandson to show him off to my friends. Grandma's brag book to the extreme!!!!.

I would LOVE this printer because well I don't have one that works right, and the wireless thing would be so AWESOME! My desktop is in the bedroom and I usually use the laptop which for some reason I can't get linked to my terrible printer.

I have a cookbook I am working on using my deceased grandma's recipes. I would love to be able to print it out myself.

Thanks.

Why i want the HP C6380:

Well, we recently moved and got all our internet and stuff set-up, and then realized that we don't have a working printer, so when i really need to print something, i send it to myself by email and then once a month or so, i visit my friend in the town i moved from - about 30 minutes away, and she lets me print from your computer on her printer. Talk about a long-distance print. What would i do if i had this printer? Oh my gosh! I would print everything! I would scan all those old letters that my great uncle wrote in 1946, and i would get some very valuable (and rare) baby pictures of my husband scanned so i can give the originals back to my mother-in-law so she can stop looking at me like that.

That's what i really really want this printer.

Honestly, I'd love a printer. The one we currently have is about 8 or 10 years old and is on the verge of crapping out. I'd really rather not invest money into buying a new printer because they're expensive and I have more important things to buy... like diapers, chocolate cake, baby food and formula, umm, other chocolate things, more diapers, and more cake. With all that chocolate and cake, my butt will probably be so round I won't be able to stand, so wireless works for me!

Even if I don't win, I gotta say... I love your blog. I've been reading it for about half a year now and it's the first thing I check when I get on the computer.

I am an HP junkie, nerd for many years, buying for my family, recommending them, etc. Never one time in the past 10+ years, has Hewlett Packard let me down, even holding down a chat conversation to help install a new printer one time. Three years ago I gave my husband an HP laptop for our hmmm, 44th wedding anniversary, and his retirement gift to help fill in his many empty hours. Granddaughter gave him a great-granddaughter who is 3 on Sunday, an easy way to keep up with it. ;)

Now I am a wireless nerd out of necessity. I am confined to a hospital bed due to severe neuropathy, and Myasthenia Gravis. I am unable to walk at all. Our only printer that will work with my Vista computer (husband's is Win 98 and not compatible) so is located on my over bed table. Due the state of my disease, I am only able to use it off and on. He, within the last year, has received hundreds of pictures of his family reaching way back to the early part of the century and onward. He was the baby of nine (9) with only he and his older sister, 88, still living. To scan then, he has to bring those pictures in bunches at a time down here to my bed. At times, that can be an inconvenience to each of us, but neither of us complains, just deal with it. So, what does he do with them? He sends them out in a weekly newsletter, usually highlighting the Family Picture of the Week. This is leaving a legacy of his and his sister, for all the family who never had any idea of many of these family members. In fact, during my last treatment at the hospital near his sister, he came home with more pictures that I've not seen yet either. At our ages, they are a memorial to all those who have gone before us.

My husband's life consists of taking care of me 24/7. This entails staying in the living room where my hospital bed is located, even sleeping full time on the sofa so that he can hear me should I need him, or else, should I run into a breathing problem, part of my disease problem during crisis, while yet uncontrolled as is mine. He does every bit of the washing, cooking (mine is diabetic), cleaning, shopping is limited to being away for a minimum amount of time or have someone come stay with me. And, one of the most, uh, dehumanizing things I've had to accept, my incontinence -including rectal- with occasional diarrhea. This is not something I tell very often, and only do so now to show his TOTAL DEVOTION to me, and the lengths he will go for me. No need to tell more, it is just more of the same, only stronger, as keeping me well, warm and alive during this ice storm when we just had. We were without power for 6.9 days. I had just had back surgery a five (5) days before it hit. A jug of Cascade solidly froze in the cabinet at the exact same time! LOL It was COLD!

I need that printer for my husband in the truest sense of the word *need*. Our 47th anniversary is coming up next month and I'd love for him to have it.

Oh, yes, I forgot. He will be 70 y/o in August. The most self-sacrificing man I have ever seen or known. He says he counts it a privilege to care for me; plus, buying and choosing my clothes for me.

Too long, I know, but I never ask for anything for myself. Please forgive the length, and think of how happy this man would be!

I would love this printer!! We dont have one at all, so I'd use it for all sorts of things! Mostly, I'd use it to print pictures of our kids, nephews and nieces. Ever since we got a digital camera, we never seem to have any actual pictures in hand!

I have the same problem with printing in my house. I got this nice laptop so I could work anywhere, but have to wait forever and a day to turn on the desktop to print anything. I would love to be able to print my own pictures, then I could have doubles of only the ones I want.
By the way, love your blog. It keeps me sane while my hubby is out to sea and I'm alone with the kids.

Nina said...

Hi, I am posting a comment 310regarding the printer.

My kids and I are in dire need of a new printer. This would be so great for us, because then we would be able to print our photos & documents. It would come in very handy for me since, I just got laid off.

Since I can not afford a new printer at this time this would also be helpful to me personally for printing resumes, cover letters, school stuff, etc. And would help so that I don't have to go to the darn library to do the printing since it cost a $1 for every stinking page one prints.

Hopefully, we get lucky enough and win.

Crossing my fingers! X

My printer sits on a little table right next to my bed. Why? Because I use my laptop while sitting on my bed.

It drives me crazy to have to go through a week's clothing, magazine, empty diet coke cans, 1/2 dozen pair of crocs and stuff I just can't talk about just to find the cable of the printer to hook up to my computer when I want to print a 'to-do' list.

I haven't been able to find the printer cable for a week or so ... hence, no 'to-do' list to remind me to clean up my side of the bed.

Just imagine how many 'to-do' lists I can spin off if I had a wireless printer.

I would LOVE to win this printer, Dawn! I am the only person who takes pictures of the 5 boys who live next door - their mom is OBVIOUSLY too busy! - and if I had a photo printer I could print them out right away and give them to her right away, instead of one or two weeks or months later, when I remember to go to Costco to print them out and by then the baby is 2 months older and doesn't look anything like the photos when I go to drop them off so I take more pictures that I forget to have printed for her so I print the whole photo disc and then I have duplicates of pictures of kids who aren't mine and I'm spending all that money on photo developing when I could be buying photo paper and just printing them once at home and deleting the pictures off my camera....

I totally know what you mean. Everytime I try to print out something, I have to turn on the OLD computer we have and wait the 15 minutes for it to load up. Then the printer prints out useless pages. Why I need the HP Wireless printer:

I own my own company, and we do product development and graphic design. We have to have a good color printer. So of course ours died a week ago. Luckily one of our clients had loaned us this exact printer! It's working well. Of course they want it back. With the economy the way it is, we can't afford to buy a new one. This printer would seriously help us support our staff and 4 children (including our 2 special- needs teens we just adopted).

How I owuld use this HP wireless printer:
I would like it because I have a desktop & a Laptop and in order for me to print from my laptop (what I mostly use) I have to crawl under my desk and unhook all the wires to hook it to my laptop. A wireless printer would eliminate this.
I also like the ability to have 2 different paper types... I think if I had my photo printer loaded then I would be more likely to print more of my pictures.. and if it was easier for me to print them then perhaps I would take more?

Thanks for entering me,
