And it's WIRELESS!!!

I got one of THE. MOST. AWESOME. products ever to review last week. It's an HP Photosmart C6300 All-in-One printer! This thing has so many cool features, but the best one is it's WIRELESS! That means I never have to get up off the couch! How cool is that?

Seriously, the printer I'd been using just stopped working with my laptop one day. I have no idea why and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Every time I needed something printed, I had to send it over to the desktop and wait 2 1/2 weeks for my desktop to turn on so I could print it. And then, when I clicked "print", it usually printed off a dozen strange pages before it got to my document. I tried to print a boarding pass a couple months ago and had to print 15 pages about Komodo Dragons first. I have no idea

Needless to say, I was thrilled to try this HP printer out! I have never been disappointed in an HP product and this was no exception.

Savannah pulled the printer out of the box and set it up by herself in no time. All I had to do was pop the included CD in my laptop and voila! I was good to go! And, did I mention it's WIRELESS?!

This printer holds both regular paper and photo paper AT THE SAME TIME! You don't have to change it out to go between printing photos and printing say, boarding passes, or copious amounts of information on Komodo Dragons. Not only that, but when you print a picture, it automatically prints on the photo paper which is very cool for people like me who would never remember to select "photo paper" every time she wanted to print a pic!

You don't have any pictures on your laptop because they were taking up too much space so you have them on a memory card, you say? No problem! You can insert your memory card directly into the printer and print our your pics! And these pictures look just like pictures that are printed professionally. They don't look like you printed them at home. I was amazed! And, it's WIRELESS!

Can you tell I totally love this printer yet? OK, another feature that I like is that it uses 5 individual inks. If your kids print out 50 pages of green Komodo Dragons, for example, you only have to replace an affordable green ink container, and not an entire expensive color cartridge.

And, and, and, check this out! Go to HP.COM/CREATE to find hundreds of free project templates for posters and business cards, calendars and greeting cards, stationary, scrapbooks, party decorations, and many, many more. You can print out party invitations, table decorations, banners, goody boxes, thank you notes and more in a coordinating design for easy party planning, for example.

And it's WIRELESS!

Honestly, I really, really love this printer and I have a feeling I've just begun to discover all it's capable of. You will be seriously impressed with this HP Wireless Photosmart C6380 printer!

I would love to get out of the dark ages with our current printer. It is challening to print labels and all other party materials. Plus, whenever we print pictures they always come out looking funny. Plus it is wireless:)

OMG I would love this printer! My hubby and I both use our wireless laptops relentlessly but hate having to hook up to our printer to get something printed. The uses I would have for this would be endless-photos, kids homework, my homework the works. Working on a master's degree-I do a lot of printing! :) Thanks!

i went reluctantly to a digital camera, i did not want to have another thing to manage/organize.
husband said he would take on the digital camera responsibilities if I agreed to switch...that has not happened, i don't think he knows how to take a picture let alone get them off the camera, how can I tell? i have not been in a picture for 3 years!
and we don't print them cause dell ink is too hard to find and too darn expensive!

Ooh, this would be so great! Wireless?! I didn't know they made those! We have an old printer attached to my husband's computer upstairs in his study, which means I always have to carry my laptop up there whenever I want to print anything, since he has a Mac and I can't just e-mail my microsoft word docs there. PLUS, I'd love the photo-printing aspect! I could actually print out our family photos?! Woohoo!

This would be fabulous for family vacations when everyone is running around snapping pictures. How fabulous would it be to be able to print out pics on the spot before everyone goes home to Michigan, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and California? Everyone could print out the pics they wanted and gaze at them on the plane ride/drive home!

I need the HP Wireless Printer, because I have 5 million pictures of my kids save on my computer and camera and no way to print them off. Currently, I attempt to download them to a site, order the pictures, and have them sent to be or delivered - but let's face it that never happens (because it takes entirely too long). If I actually had the pictures to printed out my mother would have pictures of her grandkids, and maybe - just maybe I could start working on a scrapbook for my youngest daughter (since I started on for my oldest daughter)

I was so excited to see your review as I have been very interested in the wireless printers since they came out. I have an old HP PSC 500. The scanner is beginning to have problems and the print quality is getting worse. I'm a scrapper and would love to be able to print better quality photos at home. I also print projects for the day camp for disabled kids that I "run". I keep praying that the current one keeps working as it's not in my budget to get a replacement. Thanks for the great review.

Dear Dawn,

Hello and here is why I want this printer.

I have five kids. Four of them are into photography. One got first place in another competition today - and she is only 8 years old. Two of my boys have their own groups they are admins of on Flickr, and they are so excited to enter their pictures into the State Fair this summer.

I have been published in a magazine, and have won contests for my photography. This would be such an awesome addition to our home, where we only have black and white laser printers that are connected to Dad's business and not exactly kid friendly.

Since we are in tough financial crisis right now, (not sure we could buy ink or paper for a while) we would LOVE to have this printer. It would allow my children to pursue their talent more easily (which the mom encourages heavily over addictive video games.) It would bring more color into our dreary black and white lives (and printers!)

My 8 year old - who won a digital photo key chain and some coupons today for her night time exposure of a moon rise over the mountains, would be thrilled.

My 12 year old who take pictures for hours at a time and plays at editing them would be thrilled.

My 16 year old who reads books on photo editing and digital photography in his spare time would love to have it.

My 14 year old who likes photography and feels like she never gets a turn on the computer (she doesn't!) would love it.

I (mom) am teaching art to children to earn money for extras like milk and produce, and this would be so useful to illustrate lesson plans so I would love it.

And Dad, who is owed a ton of money by several deceitful business clients all at once - so we are just trying to hold on to the house we live in until Tax return comes, or individuals actually pay us all the money they owe, would love that the kids stop trying to use the business printer for their playing around, photography endeavors, homework and scrapbooking projects.

Yeah, I think everyone who left a comment deserves it, but I rest my case. It would be very welcome here as well! Have an awesome day!

Can you imagine how easy this would make sending pictures to the grandparents?

We are military and live so far from everyone.

I could use this to print pictures for my husband for the next time he deploys.

On his last deployment he told me about a Marine whose wife would send a new picture everyday that was precut for the Marine to put up on his calendar. It showed what his family so far away had done on that specific day. I thought that was the best idea. I wish I had thought of it, but I didn't.

I hope next time I can do that for my man of mans.

So cool - I didn't even know they came wireless!!! I would love one to do all the birthday and Christmas gifts on... like those iron transfers for custom shirts, photos to use as magnets, Christmas cards, birthday invitations, etc.

Oh yeah... my mom has a 50th birthday disco party that she doesn't know about yet... this would be awesome for making theme favor boxes! :)

OH my gosh this just nailed it for me!!! My printer bit the dust about two weeks ago and I've narrowed my homework down to 3 printers....guess what one of them are? YEP! The HP C6300!!!! After hearing how happy you are I think I've got my choice! I would print pictures galore for scrapbooking, and to send to our family as we are in the military and unable to see family as often as we'd like. I'm also my daughter's Girl Scout leader so printing projects and handouts is a must! Thanks for the chance on this one!! :)

Ohhh..we would love this printer. My husband is out of work....just like 1/2 of America...and we are currently using a very old printer that we have to 'open and close' the lid before we print each time. It would be fun to print not only resumes', but also pictures of our 2 little ones (9 mo. old boy and a 2 years old). Good luck to you all! I'm heading down to the Expo now!

I really want the printer because I'm a college student who's printer has sadly died..very suddenly and violently. I need it to print off reports, and my presentations. I would also like a photo printer so that I'll be able to print out pictures for my great grandmother, including the pictures of her four great grandchildren in Maryland. She hasn't got to see them in years and she only gets pictures and I want her to be able to take the pictures and show them off to thier friends. I really really need a printer!

I have 5 kids and just got a digital camera for my birthday. I have had so much fun taking the family pic on my digital camera- because heavens knows I don't have the patience or sanity to try to get a decent un-photoshopped family-of-seven portrait from a studio.

P.S. Love your blog- I mean, "luv ur blog!"

My husband has our only printer hooked up to his computer. He tells me we can't hook up my computer due to the cable lengths. I'd sure like to save time and printing complications by having a wireless HP printer so I can be efficient and print from my computer.

Wireless and it holds both kinds of paper?! I would never have to get off the couch..wonderful! Just kidding-I have about tons of pictures that I would love to print and send to family, plus I'm working on a scrapbook of my family's heritage. It would be so cool to be able to print it all so easily. Pick me!!

The HP Photosmart C6380 All-in-One Printer, Scanner & Copier would set my desk free! I have a humongous, corded printer sitting on it, hogging precious desk space. But I can't move it because it has to be attached physically to the computer. If I had a wireless printer, I would move it to less-prime-real-estate somewhere else, like in the corner or better yet - on my husband's desk instead!

monky said...

I would use it for photos and cards and for some great work printings.

The HP Photosmart C6380 All-in-One Printer, Scanner & Copier is so awesome!!

And wireless to boot! It’s top of the line because HP makes wonderful reliable products!!

My printer currently gets stored on a shelf I take it down and plug in when I need to print because of my small work space. This HP being wireless would be so useful to me! It rocks!!

:) Thank you for the wonderful giveaway! :)

I could use a printer so badly! I have 3 new Grandchildren and I want to mark their lives in so many ways I didn't have time when my children were small. I want to take and print so many pictures as they grow. I want to send them cards for every occasion from Birthdays, Easter, Christmas to just a day to say I Love you and am so proud of you! I want a printer to help me keep a scrapbook. I want to make coloring books and even a book about me to copy for all the kids to know what it was like in the "OLD" days. I want to make them gifts, their own personalized stationary and cards. I will keep the printer busy. Best of all since its wireless I can take it everywhere with my laptop and camera! Thank you for the giveaway and I will be blessed to win but if not you will make someone extremely happy and that is so good of you! Best of luck to all!

Unknown said...

I am usually clueless when it comes to checking the calendar ahead of time, buying cards for special occasions and sending them. I am usually sending birthday greeting days or even weeks after it happens. If I had a printer to print the cards I might get the cards out on time. I also send to Costco photographs to print and with this printer I can do them myself and save time/money in doing so.

One thing that clutters up everything is a lot of wires on top of the desk going every which way. Wireless is really the best way to go and it besides the convenience of it, it would mean that I could throw away this old one that I have that I can't seem to do anything with. It would be so nice to print nice crisp pictures and I love to send out cards to family members this would be great to do that.

I want this because I'm tired of having to fight everyone to use MY printer. My printer is hooked up to my computer and it's the only one in the house. My husband and the two teenagers have their own computers, but when they need something printed they have to use my printer. As you can see, we really need a second printer. And since this one's wireless, it would be great for the kids laptops.

I totally need this - no really I NEED it!! I have a 15 month old beautiful baby girl -named Ariana. I have been together her digital scrap-baby-book and was dreading have to get it printed elsewhere. I would love to be able to print it right at home and not have to run out in the COLD Milwaukee, WI weather.

My e-mail is jessjere@gmail.com

Thanks

Wireless is da bomb! I would love to have a printer that doesn’t have to be within 3 feet of my computer so I have more desk space. This would mean that my family wouldn’t have to email me their print projects either. I use my printer all the time, but it is always getting jammed up because the vertical paper feed is wonky. Next print project? Taxes!

I would LOVE this printer for so many different reasons. Let's see...
Reason 1. my printer just died
2. my hubby works from home & prints all of his reports/invoices etc from here
3. my hubby is hoping to move his office to a "real" office, taking everything (including broken printer) with him
4. my boys need a printer for all their Kobe pics they like to print out
5. my boys have homework that needs to be printed for school
6. I am a scrapbooker & like the option to print my own photos from home
7. did I mention my printer just died?

I think you get the point, yes, this printer would definitely be put to good use here!

I would use it to print my own pictures at home. No more uploading them, sending them online (which is sooooooo slow), choosing the ones I want, and then waiting for them to be delivered...hurrah! ooh nice printer!
I got laid off late last year, so I am in need of a printer to print resumes and cover letters for my job search. Right now I go to the library to print stuff at 10¢ per page - no duplex, no color.

I also bead, and the internet has scads of free jewelry pattern/instructions. They'd look so much better in color!

Thanks for the giveaway!

I would love to have this printer for so many reasons, the first being that I make candle tarts and have a beautiful label someone designed for me and I cannot use it yet because my printer broke a few months back, it makes for a very unprofessional looking product. Not a good way to get my small home business up and running.

Our family would so much love this printer,we can get rid of all the cables cluttering around behind the desk, save gas and trips to get copies made. Your blog is so great and we need a printer so bad. that one we have is always malfuntioning thanks brent

Well...I don't know if my reason is better than anyone else's, but lord knows I need a new printer. I wore out my last one printing pictures of my first born over the last 20 months. I just found out I am pregnant with #2...oops..I mean, SURPRISE! I haven't even told my husband yet. (We will need to name it Jesus based on how not-busy we get due to tired-ness from child #1. How did you manage to have so many kids anyway?) Anyway, winning a wireless printer would help break the news to my techie husband on Valentine's Day. "Happy Valentine's Day...I'm pregnant...I won a cool gadget for us!...Honey?..Are you ok?...It's ok, we might not have to sell the house if you get a paper route. Did I tell you is was wireless? See, it's all going to be ok." Also, this would insure that child #2 actually has more a few photos in a guaranteed-to-be-not-finished baby book and child #1 can't convince #2 that they are adopted or purchased from a vending machine.....I'm still peeved at my older brother for that one.

Love the blog....it keeps me sane to know there's another sarcastic mom out there hiding in plain sight among the super-mommies.
